Tungsten 1.2.2 officially supports new connector capability for MySQL

Available on SourceForge and the Continent website, Tungsten 1.2.2 is now available for download. While much of the release contains bug fixes, the open source version now supports a new Tungsten Connector capability for MySQL called pass-through mode—allowing Tungsten to proxy connections by transferring network blocks directly and speeding up throughput by as much as 200%.

Additionally, the commercial version, now offers features that improve replication and clustering that include PostgreSQL warm standby clustering and add-on rules to manage master virtual IP addresses.
