SQL Server 2008 Now Provided with In-Database Analytics

SQL Server 2008 has now gained in-database analytics from Fuzzy Logix and its DB Lytix, a database analytics library. DB Lytix provides:

  • Extensive research on advanced analytical methods
  • Functions for mathematical and statistical analysis, data mining, and Monte Carlo simulations.
  • Quick predictive analysis with the familiar T-SQL language within SQL Server
  • Along with reduced cost since data does not need to be moved and redundant security is unneeded
